The 6284 Series Modern Handrail, another innovative design by House of Forgings, is a contemporary addition to our handrail collection. This series has been crafted with a focus on modern aesthetics, while also prioritizing comfort and compliance with building code regulations.

The 6284 modern handrail profile boasts dimensions of 2-1/4 inches in width and 2-3/8 inches in height. This size provides a substantial grip area, offering both comfort and a secure hold, essential for stairway safety. The handrail’s dimensions and design make it an ideal fit for contemporary spaces, contributing to the overall modern look of the staircase.

Currently, the 6284 Series is available in two wood types: red oak and white oak. These options provide flexibility in terms of matching the handrail to different interior designs and color schemes. Red oak offers a classic, warm appearance, while white oak presents a more neutral, versatile look.

A notable aspect of this series is that the handrails are available in 16 ft pieces only. This specification is particularly beneficial for larger staircase projects or for applications where longer, uninterrupted handrail lengths are desired. Can be cut down by our warehouse to ship ground.
