House of Forgings provides many stair accessories, tools, glue and hardware to make your stair installation process faster and easier than ever before. For iron baluster installation we have two part epoxy which is used to hold the baluster in place. Our stair epoxy is quick dry & non-drip, making your installation quick, clean and sturdy. We use titebond wood glue for every stair treads, newel post and bending handrail install. We provide touch up paint for satin black products.

Stair Accessories – Installation

For wood handrail we provide wood rosettes and handrail brackets for wall installations. We provide wood installation kits for handrails and fittings which includes the lag bolt and wood plugs. For wood newel posts we use a Sure-Tite wood newel fastening system for sturdy installation.

For iron balusters, we provide stair shoes which lay at the bottom of your baluster or can be secured up under your handrail. The purpose of stair shoes is not to support the baluster structurally but to add a more finished look or extra decorative element. They also make installation easier by hiding all the gaps you get from drilling the iron baluster holes.

For iron newel posts, we provide an iron newel installation kit used to anchor your newel into the floor or stair treads. The kit allows the anchor to be held into place by four sturdy bolts, providing all the support your iron newel needs.
